Care is offered Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
on a beautiful 1/4-acre property hosting a creek on the western border, surrounded by trees,
and within walking distance of Hayhurst Elementary.
Led by educator Bridgid McGrath, MA, a heart-centered teacher with over 20 years of experience in early childhood, Montessori education, art, and nature-based learning.
At Green Earth Montessori, children are honored as capable, curious, and naturally driven learners. The program emphasizes social-emotional development, social justice, creativity, outdoor exploration, and an intentional culture that respects each child’s natural pace.

Land Acknowledgement
I acknowledge the First People, the Indigenous tribes who lived on this land for thousands of years before we called this place Oregon. The Portland Metro area rests on traditional village sites of the Multnomah, Wasco, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Bands of Chinook, Tualatin, Kalapuya, Molalla, and many other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River, creating communities and summer encampments to harvest and use the plentiful natural resources of the area.
I honor their legacy and work to create justice for the next 7 generations.
